The address is displayed on MAP24 Internet mapping components on a back-end computer, and is then sent from the computer to the TREQ-M4 in the truck. Truck drivers will automatically be guided to their destination and can change load information upon delivery. Estimated arrival times can be sent from the TREQ-M4 to a server so customers can receive SMS notifications of when the truck will arrive.
Also, by offering the TREQ-M4, SATLOG's development partner, Angels & Co GmbH, can easily port or modify a wide variety of existing software for the TREQ-M4 to enhance efficiency in vehicles. These components can be licensed with or without the basic SATLOG telematics and portal components to other QSI mobile data terminal customers as well. Different languages and country maps are also available.
