QSI Announces QTERM®-P40 Large Character Operator Interface / Data Terminal.
Salt Lake City, Utah. 08 June 1997. The QTERM-P40 large character data terminal is a low cost, rugged, operator interface for industrial applications. Features of this panel-mount terminal include a 20 × 4 large-character, lighted, wide-temp, supertwist LCD display that is easily readable from four meters (12 feet). The QTERM-P40 is available with either 24 or 40 programmable keys on a tactile keypad with up to five programmable LEDs. The QTERM-P40 is capable of sending long keystrings or invoking macros, and has two-key rollover, block mode, local commands and autoexec strings.
Included for free, in any quantity, is custom OEM labeling of the QTERM-P40, including company name, user LED labels and a row of function keys.
The QTERM-P40 is available with EIA-232, EIA 422, 5-volt Buffered or multidrop EIA-422m or EIA-485 interfaces that will support up to 32 terminals. The QTERM-P40 is made of glass-filled nylon and will withstand hose-down cleaning. A backlit keypad, emergency-stop switch, and a second serial port are optional features.
