QSI Announces the QTERM®-B30 Pedestal-Mount Operator Interface / Data Terminal.
Salt Lake City, Utah. 20 June 1998. The QTERM-B30 Pedestal-Mount Operator Interface/Data Terminalis a low cost, rugged, operator interface terminal for industrial applications. Features of this pedestal-mount terminal include a 4-line by 40-character supertwist, lighted LCD display, 55-key, tactile membrane keypad with QWERTY style layout, and four programmable indicator LEDs for operator feedback. The QTERM-B30 keypad legend and logo label can be fully customizable. An optional Manufacturer ID code protects your development investment so only terminals you purchase will operate with your equipment.
The QTERM-B30 comes with an EIA-232 serial interface, and an optional EIA- 422 serial interface is also available. The standard QTERM-B30 uses an external 5 VDC supply, and an optional regulator allows operation with an external 7.5 to 24 VDC supply. The QTERM-B30 housing is made of rugged cast-aluminum with studs for pedestal mounting.
