QSI Corporation Enters Private Label Agreement with Opto 22.
Salt Lake City, Utah. 15 January 2002. QSI Corporation, manufacturer of rugged operator interface terminals, has entered into a Private Label Agreement with Opto 22, Temecula, California. The agreement allows Opto 22 to "private label" QSI Corporation's QTERM®-G70 operator interface terminal for sale through their international network of corporate sales representatives and distributors. Opto 22 will market the product as the OptoTerminal-G70. QSI Corporation will continue to advertise, promote and sell the standard QTERM-G70 operator interface terminal to their customers.
Opto 22 will offer the OptoTerminal-G70, a graphics-based operator interface, for use with the company's SNAP Ethernet I/O™ and SNAP Ultimate I/O™ systems."This is a product many of our customers have been
waiting for,"
stated James Davis, Opto 22 Application Engineer. "By delivering Ethernet connectivity, a color touch screen, and easy-to-use software, users now have a low-cost, compact and durable operator interface for their plant floor
and no longer need to use a full-blown PC to act as an HMI."
"QSI Corporation and Opto 22 have had a long and successful history of working together. This agreement extends that strong relationship,"
said James Elwell, President of QSI Corporation. "We are
confident this partnership will be very beneficial to both organizations."
