Operator Interface Hardware

  • Supertwist, 20x4, LCD display; lighted, wide-temperature and vacuum-fluorescent versions are available as options.
  • 24- or 40-key tactile keypad with shift LED and row of programmable indicator LEDs.
  • EIA-232, EIA-422, EIA-485, 5-volt Buffered or -422m interfaces supported.
  • Up to 20 Kbytes of nonvolatile storage for user data.
  • Available in handheld or panel-mount configurations.
  • Battery option for up to 190 hours of operation. Low battery detect and auto-off functions.
  • Secondary EIA-232 port for data input using bar code wands.
  • Two-key rollover and key release provide for easy control of robotic devices.
  • The QTERM-IV can operate in any of three modes: full-duplex, block or multidrop mode; multidrop mode supports up to 32 terminals per host.
  • Every key can be programmed with six parameters: unshifted key string, key release string, key repeat flag and shifted key string, key release string and key repeat flag.
  • 48 programmable macro strings allow complete operator menus using simple host commands. Macros can include local commands and display data.
  • Auto-execute string for power-on configuration without host interaction.
  • Make the terminal part of your product with a custom key legend and company logo label.
  • Industrially hardened to operate in many environmental conditions and meets NEMA-12/13 specifications.
  • Optional emergency-stop switch (E-stop) on handheld units with DB9 connector.
  • Optional two-position deadman switch on handheld units.
