QSI Corporation strives to adhere to all web standards, as suggested by the W3C, to ensure proper delivery, accessibility, and forward compatibility. We believe that by ensuring our site is standards-compliant we highlight our endeavor to provide quality products and services. We would suggest you use a standards-compliant browser when viewing our site, such as Mozilla Firefox or Opera, although we strive to make our site compatible with all modern browsers.
XHTML
This site is written using valid XHTML 1.0, which is a stricter XML based version of HTML. By paying rigorous attention to our markup and semantics we aim to provide excellent compatibility and accessibility. The only pages on this site which intentionally do not validate as XHTML are the pages with Macromedia Flash content. Although it is possible to embed Flash content into XHTML using only valid markup, the auto-update functionality of flash player is lost during the process. We use non-standard markup to embed Flash content to preserve this functionality.
CSS
We use CSS, or Cascading Style Sheets, extensively throughout this site to seperate the logical meaning of the content from the visual display. This helps ensure the information on our web site is accessible and properly formatted for a variety of devices and technologies, such as screen readers and printers.
